Year 1 Sudbury Hall Trip 2026

What an unforgettable day Year 1 had on their trip to Sudbury Museum of Childhood!

From the moment we arrived, the children were captivated as they stepped back in time, exploring a fascinating collection of toys from the past. Linking perfectly to our history topic, they compared old and new toys, discussing how they were made and how they worked, sparking brilliant curiosity and conversation throughout the day.

We took part in exciting challenges, enjoyed a guided tour, and even experienced what life was like for children in the past by climbing up a chimney, an absolute highlight!

With sunshine on our side, we also soaked up the beautiful outdoor surroundings.

The children were an absolute credit to the school; their enthusiasm, behaviour and eagerness to learn truly made it a day to remember!
