Children's Mental Health Week
The week has been an opportunity to shine a spotlight on children and young people's mental health.
7 - 13 February 2022
This year, the assembly is to help children and young people across the UK take part in the week and explore the theme of ‘Growing Together.’
The assembly features a very special message from BAFTA and Oscar-winning actress, Olivia Colman.
Growing Together is about growing emotionally and finding ways to help each other grow. Challenges and setbacks can help us to grow and adapt and trying new things can help us to move beyond our comfort zone into a new realm of possibility and potential. However, emotional growth is often a gradual process that happens over time, and sometimes we might feel a bit ‘stuck’.
For Children's Mental Health Week 2022, we will be encouraging children (and adults) to consider how they have grown and how they can help others to grow.
Did you know that 1 in 6 children and young people have a diagnosable mental health problem, and many more struggle with challenges from bullying to bereavement?
We invited the children in to school to 'Dress to Express' and make a massive difference
We're thrilled to be raising funds for Children's Mental Health Week 2022.
By getting involved, you've not only raised important awareness, but also vital funds to ensure every child has easy access to mental health support.
