Outwoods Primary School

 Welcome to Outwoods Primary

Mrs Taylor is our Special Needs Co-ordinator.

As SENDCo, she is responsible for overseeing the special needs provision at our school.

Mrs Taylor is supported by Mrs Claire Preston (Assistant SENDCo) and Mrs Sarah Bone (Administrative Assistant).

If you would like to speak to Mrs Taylor or a member of staff about your child, please make an appointment via the school office.

Mrs Lally is the SEND Governor at Outwoods Primary School.

Special Education Needs and Disabilities

As our Inclusion policy explains; our aim is to break down barriers and raise the aspirations, expectations and progress leading to achievement for all pupils with SEN or those with a disability. All teachers are teachers of SEND at Outwoods and including all children is always their priority.

Click here to see our Inclusion Policy.

We have a comprehensive inclusion team who each offer a jigsaw piece of our inclusion offer.

Everyday key members of our Inclusion Team are outside to meet and greet pupils as well as be available for parents.  We pride ourselves in our partnership with parents and hope that we can be of support to all of our families if they ever need us.

Please email enquiries@outwoods.staffs.sch.uk if you feel that you would like to speak to one of our team.

Please see our interactive ‘School Information Report’ for answers to the frequently asked questions around support and accessibility for those with special educational needs or disabilities.
